Managers and Coaches

This is really the core of our league. Managers and coaches are front line with the kids, keeping them engaged and fostering a love of the sport. As the kids advance through the divisions, their skill levels increase and the games become more competitive. Manager and coach responsibilities increase too! But start small. Take a tee ball team and have fun playing with kids newly introduced to the sport. As your coaching and managing skills improve, you can advance with the kids until you're ready to manage a Majors or Jr./Sr. Team.

Team Support

Coaches and managers are always looking for help from parents. It allows them to focus on the task at hand - keeping those kids focused on learning the sport. While not an official role, make sure you're stepping up to volunteer in concession or maybe to help with team communications.

Background Checks

As a volunteer, you are required to submit to background checks through both Little League and the East Providence Police Department.
